All Psychology majors are required to design and conduct an independent empirical research project as part of the comprehensive exam. Usually these will be experimental or correlational research designs.

This course is also required for Neuroscience majors. After thorough grounding in the fundamentals of biology and psychology followed by exploration of special topics in advanced courses, students will complete an original research topic that integrates psychology and biology.
