Earlham College is consistently ranked a Best Value college by national ranking guides–and we strive to bring the same value to our graduate students. Because our programs are condensed into 11 months, you’ll be able to finish your education and begin your career sooner than traditional two-year programs.
Scholarships and aid
GPE Merit-Based Scholarships
Applicants are automatically assessed for a merit scholarship based on criteria such as your interview score, undergraduate G.P.A., the content and quality of your personal statement and diversity statement, your previous experience in education, and other varying factors. M.A.T. scholarships range up to $10,000, and M.Ed. scholarships range up to $8,000.
Teachers Like Us Scholarship (M.A.T. only)
M.A.T. Applicants who come from racial and ethnic backgrounds that have been historically excluded from education will be automatically granted a set amount of additional scholarship funds (determined by G.P.E. faculty each year) from our Teachers Like Us Scholarship, made possible by generous donors.
Student Loans
Given that students need to cover the cost of tuition and living expenses for the three semester they are in the program, most GPE students apply for student loans. More information about student loans and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available on the FAFSA website.
If you’d like additional help navigating the financial decisions involved in graduate school, you can contact Earlham’s Office of Financial Aid.
2023-24 Tuition
The Graduate Programs in Education have no fees associated with them, and all textbooks are supplied by the program.
