ENSU 320: Place-Based Education

This course explores the concept of “place” and how it can inform both formal and nonformal education, with a particular focus on the natural world. It includes ecological, cultural, and civic dimensions of place-based education and examines concepts such as bioregionalism, place-consciousness, critical pedagogy, and globalization.
