A one-semester introductory survey course of chemistry. Designed for students planning further study of chemistry who have not previously studied chemistry or who have had extremely limited experience with chemistry. Concepts of atomic and molecular structure, chemical reactions and equations, stoichiometry, gas laws, and introduction to organic and biochemistry topics are addressed.
